“他又領我到寬闊之處，他救拔我，因他喜悅我。”（《詩》18：19）
這“寬闊之處”究竟是什麼呢？這不是別的，乃是神自己——一切生命河流的歸宿。神實在是一個寬闊之處。大衛被領到寬闊之處，是先經過羞恥和侮辱的。
